Baby Talk at Jerome Park Library

This workshop guides parents in supporting their baby’s language development from birth to one year. Through simple activities woven into daily routines, parents learn how to engage their infants in meaningful conversations and play. Activities include singing with gestures, playing peekaboo, narrating play, and creating visual books for tummy time. Emphasizing the importance of early language exposure, this session equips parents with practical strategies to nurture their baby’s communication skills from the start.
