Introducing LINC's New Director of Development: Katie Gardner-Boehm

It is with great pleasure that LINC welcomes a new Director of Development, Katie Gardner-Boehm to lead our fundraising efforts during this significant moment in LINC's history--our 25th anniversary.

Katie Gardner-Boehm (she/her) is a former educator and experienced fundraiser. Her years in the classroom fuel her dedication to respecting and empowering children, and fostering healthy families and strong communities by ensuring access to high quality educational programs and resources.

Katie believes that empathy, storytelling, authenticity, and reliability are paramount in relationship building and fundraising. These values drive her work and are responsible for her achievements as a development and organizational leader. She regards stewarding the generosity of others and representing organizations serving the dynamic needs of our communities to be an immense honor.

Katie is most proud of her vital fundraising roles during her organizations’ pivotal moments. She was a part of the development team and capital project that secured funding to open the new home for KidsQuest Children’s Museum in Bellevue, WA in 2016. Later, she returned to lead the Museum’s development team and directed fundraising efforts that maintained essential staff and programs during the COVID-19 crisis. Katie also steered the major gifts program and raised record gifts at King County Sexual Assault Resource Center during the resurgence and escalation of the #MeToo movement, and a time of historic demand for KCSARC’s advocacy, therapy, and prevention services.

Katie is a graduate of Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, PA. She grew up in New Jersey, and now resides in Manhattan with her husband and dog. She recently returned to the East Coast after 11 years in the Pacific Northwest.

Welcome to the team, Katie! We are excited to fundraise for LINC's next 25 years with you!

Katie can be contacted at kgboehm@lincnyc.org and 212-620-5462, ext. 163.
