Very Involved
Parents Volunteer Program (VIPS)
The Very Involved Parent Program (VIP) mission is to equip our caregivers with simple literacy tools to take a greater role in shaping the future of our young readers while volunteering at LINC’s reading programs in their communities

Hear Leisa Blair's story of becoming a role model to her children and her community.

Listen to Deon Daniels describe how LINC’s virtual workshops helped her family during COVID-19 shutdowns:

What is a VIP?
It’s a highly active caregiver or individual who takes leadership in the community to advocate for the children’s growth and academic success through LINC’s programs to create a literacy-rich environment at home or in the community.
With every graduating class of VIPs, LINC looks for new ways to honor our VIPs for their dedication and commitment to our mission. In 2022, we launched a video interview series - VIP Voices - in which we highlight the experiences of seven influential literacy advocates.
