Inspiring Partnerships Uplift Our Families: LINC Joins Forces with the Family Enrichment Center of Washington Heights & Inwood

Last week, LINC kicked off one of our Upper Manhattan programs with an inspiring new partner, the Family Enrichment Center of Washington Heights and Inwood (FEC), and once again opened doors to additional resources for families who live in this community.

FEC graciously hosted the event and provided refreshments through their partnership with a local staple, Café Bloom. They also generously donated five Target gift cards which we raffled off during the event, generating enthusiasm and engagement with LINC programming.

During LINC’s Reading Discovery program, LINC staff took a moment to celebrate our Champion Parents by presenting them with certificates in recognition of their participation and leadership throughout the year. They also shared a lively storytime experience by performing a read-aloud play, with help from LINC’s literacy veterans, the Very Involved Parents (VIPs), which brought a whole lot of joy and laughter to the room.

We are so excited for the momentum that this new chapter has ignited and want to extend our gratitude to FEC and Cafe Bloom for making it possible. When families engage in joyful and meaningful programs like this one, they experience the true value of partnership, and we all look forward to the next opportunity to collaborate.
